BE PART OF THE ART!
Every Empty Bowls event begins long before the big night — in the hands of our community. Local potters create the bowls, and then friends, families, and neighbors gather together to glaze them with color, heart, and creativity.

For just $7, you can join us at Yada Yada Pottery and paint your own design. Your bowl will become a lasting keepsake for someone attending Empty Bowls Mount Dora, and the funds raised will go directly to Lake Cares Food Pantry.​​​

We couldn’t do Empty Bowls without the generosity of our community — and without clay, there are no bowls! Each bag of clay brings 17–18 soup bowls to life, covering the clay, glazing, and firing needed to get them ready for the big event.
