Make the Bowls That Bring This Event to Life

Every Empty Bowls event starts with clay — and the hands that shape it. Bowl- making sessions are where those first pieces come to life, created by local potters and community members working side by side.

You don’t need to be an experienced potter to take part. These sessions are designed to be relaxed, hands-on, and welcoming to all skill levels.

 

Depending on the session, you may:

• Hand-build a bowl from clay

• Learn simple shaping techniques

• Work alongside experienced potters who can guide you

 

Each bowl you create will be glazed at a later event and donated to

Empty Bowls Mt. Dora.
