Morning Volunteer Shift | 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Help us get everything ready for Empty Bowls! Morning volunteers will help with site setup, tables, tents, chairs, décor and signage; washing and organizing bowls; preparing the restaurant and soup area; and getting the event spaces ready for our guests.
Afternoon Volunteer Shift | 2:00–5:30 PM
Help us get the finishing touches in place before guests arrive! Afternoon volunteers will help with completing setup and décor; organizing and displaying bowls; setting up restaurant and soup stations; preparing menus, silverware bundles and event materials; and making sure everything is ready for the evening.
Evening Volunteer Shift | 5:30–8:30 PM
Be part of the main event! Evening volunteers will help with greeting and directing guests; distributing menus and silverware bundles; helping with bowls, restaurants and soup stations; monitoring water and bread; assisting with the silent auction; and jumping in wherever help is needed.
Closing Volunteer Shift | 8:00–10:00 PM
Help us wrap up the night! Closing volunteers will help with breaking down tables, chairs, tents and décor; packing and storing bowls and supplies; clearing restaurant and guest areas; collecting event and silent auction materials; and making sure Donnelly Park is clean and ready to go.
